WHERE IT BEGAN
Equine InStride began with a simple question: What if the horse show experience worked better for riders?
As both an equestrian and a designer, I experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating horse shows, jumping between multiple websites, waiting for schedule updates, searching for important information, and trying to stay organized while focusing on my horse. The experience often felt more complicated than it needed to be.
What started as a UX design capstone project became an opportunity to rethink that experience from the rider's perspective. Through research, interviews, and user-centered design, I explored how thoughtful digital tools could simplify communication, improve organization, and help competitors spend less time managing logistics and more time doing what they love.
Those concepts became the foundation of Equine InStride.
Today, the brand continues to grow beyond those original ideas through thoughtfully designed products that support riders both in and out of the show ring. While these website and app concepts remain conceptual, they represent the vision that continues to inspire every planner, product, and innovation created under the Equine InStride name.

BRAND GUIDELINES
THE WEBSITE CONCEPT
The Equine InStride website was designed to simplify the horse show experience before competitors even arrive at the venue. Serving as a centralized hub for entries, schedules, facility information, and event details, the concept brings together the resources riders need in one intuitive platform. By reducing the need to navigate multiple websites and scattered documents, the goal was to create a more organized, transparent, and user-friendly experience that allows competitors to spend less time searching for information and more time preparing to ride.
The concept was developed through an iterative design process, beginning with hand-drawn sketches and evolving into wireframes that refined the site's structure, navigation, and user experience.
THE MOBILE APP CONCEPT
Designed to complement the website experience, the Equine InStride mobile app focuses on keeping riders informed and connected throughout the horse show. From real-time schedule updates and notifications to facility maps, results, and in-gate communication, the concept brings essential show information directly to a competitor's fingertips. The goal was to reduce uncertainty, improve communication, and help riders stay focused on their horse rather than constantly searching for updates.
Like the website, the app evolved through an iterative user-centered design process. Beginning with sketches and low-fidelity wireframes before developing into interactive prototypes, each design decision
was guided by research and feedback from equestrians.
